This 2-day training course explores the changing patterns in the production, transfer and consumption of content on the World Wide Web. Collectively a set of concepts and technologies are being exploited to decentralize the way the Web operates and the term Web 2.0 has been coined to refer to these concepts.
The course defines Web 2.0 and contrasts the new services and applications with traditional Web features. No single technology will deliver Web 2.0 applications and the course looks at the various components which are used to generate, manipulate, transfer and consume content, these technologies are then related to example Web 2.0 sites and services. Finally the course looks at the implementation of Web 2.0 in mobile devices and considers the challenges that this presents and reviews progress in this area.entation can be explained.ated.
