Planning A Profitable, Long-TermWiMAX Network Strategy

This in-depth workshop is ideal for those interested in deploying WiMAX networks. Attendees will learn about the basic design considerations for fixed, portable and mobile WiMAX networks along with a framework for the successful planning and deployment of these networks. This workshop will cover the access services network and associated network infrastructure required to support the complete spectrum of services delivered by a WiMAX infrastructure.

WiMAX technology has quickly gained ground as a preferred broadband access technology. This session is designed to dig deep beyond the hype and into the reality of deploying networks, addressing the technical and practical issues that a network operator must address prior to deployment. Attendees should leave the workshop with a clear framework of the various tradeoffs, and a practical sense of how to evolve a WiMAX network over time to maximize the return on investment in the transition from fixed to portable to mobile usage models.
